Media Legal Project is a site where I will discuss business topics such as sales, the economy as it relates to local businesses, etc.
Too often, the media does not say and report things that really matter to the local businessman or woman. While articles in the Wall Street Journal or Investors Daily may help the guy or gal that sits in their ivory tower. It certainly does not help the John Q. or Jane Q business person.
I want this blog to be different. I want it to be of ideas and successes of the small business person. When 85% of all jobs in the U.S. are provided by small business, that is were economic news focus should be, not in the “I don’t give a crap about you even though I pretend I do” large corporation.
This is also be a blog of ideas to help small business overcome the buying power of large businesses. There is no reason for any small businesses section to go the way of the dodo bird.
You see this with all sorts of small business sectors, such as pharmacies, hardware stores, toy stores, meat markets, bakeries, and other sectors.
People will say, they won because the small business were out priced, or out-marketed. The truth is those small business that went under when the big box stores rolled into town were already dead men walking.
Most people will always pay more for quality. That is quality in product and quality in service.
Will the owner of a Big Box store speak with it’s customers in the store. Nope. The managers will not even do that.
So in essence, this blog will go commando to help you beat the enemy.
